To figure out whose bag it is, read the yearbook.

The yearbook says Harrison was the captain of the basketball team. The bag is Harrison's. Can you find any clues about what Harrison might use for a 3 number password?

There is a printout of "SecureLogix Security Questions" for Harrison (from Part 22). One of the account recovery questions has a 3 digit answer format (Harrison's lucky day).

To figure out Harrison's lucky day, read the yearbook carefully (the yearbook is Harrison's).

Pay special attention to the autographs page.

One of the autographs mentions that Harrison won 10k on a scratch ticket in grade 10 on April Fool's day. Harrison graduated in 2002, so Harrison would have been in grade 10 from 1999-2000. Harrison's lucky day is April 1st, 2000. Translated into dmy format, this becomes: 140. The password to open the basketball bag is 140.

Look at the "Shadows Over Millfield" poster carefully.

Reread the witness statements and police interviews.

Read Dante's interview carefully.

Dante says (in his police interview) that he was watching "Shadows Over Millfield" the morning Summer was murdered.

The "Shadows Over Millfield" poster says the movie comes out in theaters on September 15th. Summer was murdered on the 14th. Dante lied about his alibi.

Look at the Ghost Lock messages, Summer's patient schedule, and Summer's billing records.

Who was Summer supposed to see (according to her schedule) on September 14th at 10:30AM? Contrast this with her billing records.

Summer's schedule says she was supposed to be seeing "Damien Maiden" at 10:30AM on September 14th. Summer also saw Damien the previous Saturday (7th). But Damien is not in Summer's billing records. Under "Appointment Code", Damien is classified as "NS" (Not Specified).

Assuming the records are correct, why would Summer want to see a patient but not bill them? Summer can bill patients for $0 (Pro Bono Appointments are $0), so the reason can't be that Summer is just trying to help Damien out by seeing them for free.

Summer is hiding the fact that she's seeing Damien. She either doesn't want to leave a paper trail with her billing records, or she doesn't have a patient named Damien (and doesn't want to falsify billing records.)

"Damien Maiden" is an odd name.

Notice that the Ghost Lock messages (found on Summer's phone) are with someone called 'DM' and they discuss meeting on Saturday.

Are there any other clues in the Ghost Lock messages that hint as to who DM could be?

Who are G and H? (mentioned in the Ghost Lock messages). To figure out who "G" is, make sure you explore the website on the back of the 'Nuvo' business card if you haven't already.

The website on the business card is www.nuvoseattle.com. The "About" section references a man named Gerry.

Summer was going to meet Medina at 10:30AM. 

Although we only have Summer's billings records from the past 2 weeks, it seems like Summer meets "Damien" on Saturdays at 10:30AM. By putting a fake appointment in her calendar, Summer has an easy excuse for why she's gone on Saturday mornings. If Harrison snoops through Summer's calendar, she's in the clear. This suggests that Summer is trying to hide her meetings with Damien.

The Ghost Lock messages show Summer messaged someone called 'DM' on September 13th, 2019, and references meeting tomorrow (which would be September 14th). We can assume 'DM" is Damien Maiden. In the messages, DM writes "I know you're ready to cut the cord with H", suggesting that Summer is ready to break up wiith Harrison, her husband.

In Summer's blog, she talks about being dissatisfied with her marriage and meeting a woman (and going on a date with this woman). From all this, we can infer Summer is having an affair with "Damien".

From here, there are several things that point towards Medina being Damien Maiden, including:

- Medina's lies to police. Medina denies knowing Summer, but that can't be true because we know she wrote a note to Summer (the note written on the back of the parenting article, found in the blue luggage tag), that is addressed to Summer and references "the day we met".

- Medina is very adamant about not knowing Summer and says she doesn't want police looking into her life. This is consistent with what 'DM' says in the Ghost Lock messages, where DM insinuates that they are not ready to come clean with their affair, mostly because of how "G" would react.

- Speaking of "G", Medina has a husband who's first name starts with "G" (Gerry Caldwell - see www.nuvoseattle.com)

- Going back to Medina's lies - Medina tells police she heard screaming and ran into Summer's office (where she found Summer). She says the windows in Summer's office were open, which is how she must have heard the screaming. This isn't true, because a security camera photo shows that the windows were closed at 10:26AM, but Medina found Summer (and called 911) at 10:25AM. We can infer that the windows weren't open when Medina found Summer, but Medina opened them so that she could explain to police why she was in Summer's office (and found SUmmer). Also, nobody else heard Summer scream besides Medina, which supports the conclusion that Medina was lying about the windows being open. Medina lied about the windows because she didn't want to tell police she was meeting Summer at 10:30 that morning because then her affair would likely be exposed. This is consistent with the fears Medina expresses in her witness statement about the police looking into her life. This is also consistent with DM's hesitation (in the Ghost Lock messages) about coming forward about the affair. Medina did not want her affair to be exposed.

- Lastly, "Damien" and "Maiden" are anagrams for Medina.

Damien Maiden is Summer's code name for Medina. Summer was planning on meeting Medina at 10:30AM on Saturday, September 14th.

Have another look at the blue die, the police note (the note that starts off with "I spoke to the 911 caller"), the orange pawn, Summer's blog entries, and the officer notebook.

The 911 caller, told police she heard a scream, ran inside the building, and found Summer. If we look at the officer notebook, though, we see that no other witnesses heard a scream... odd.

The 911 caller also told police she didn't know Summer, but the officer said she was very distraught... also odd.

Summer's blog entry titled "First date" has a picture of a board game. In the picture, there's a blue sparkly die and an orange pawn. Summer mentions she (and the woman she was on a date with), took "souvenirs" from their date.

The loose officer note mentions that the 911 caller dropped a blue sparkly die. Medina is the 911 caller, so Medina must have dropped the die, which means Medina was on the date with Summer. Judging by Summer's blog posts, Summer and Medina are seeing each other, and Summer is infatuated with Medina.

Summer was going to meet with Medina at 10:30AM. Medina and Summer are having an affair. Summer mentions having met an amazing woman in her blog. Summer also disparages her husband, Harrison, in her blog. Summer also has a pride pin, which is consistent with her interest in Medina.

Medina's behaviour is another clue. Medina was shifty when speaking with the police at the scene - she refused to give them her name, and she left extremely quickly. She says she heard a scream from the street, but this doesn't add up because the two other witnesses (who were right outside Summer's office) didn't hear anything.

Medina also lied and told police she didn't know Summer (which we know isn't true - Summer has a note from her - the note in the luggage tag matches the handwriting on Medina's police statement).

Medina is likely lying because she's married (which we know from the website www.nuvoseattle.com - it says Medina and her husband own a restaurant together). Medina wasn't walking down the street when she heard a scream. She either murdered Summmer (and then called 911) or discovered Summer's body and then called 911. Either way, Medina doesn't want police snooping around and figuring out that her and Summer were having an affair. It will make her look suspicious, and if her husband finds out, it could ruin her marriage.

Note that we don't know if Medina lied about her alibi (but we know she lied about not knowing Summer), because she may have been walking down Yonge Street (what she says in her police statement) before she went in to Summer's office (and either killed Summer and called 911, or found Summer dead and called 911).

The final clue (that tells us Summer was meeting with Medina at 10:30AM) is the name "Damien Maiden". "Damien" and "Maiden" are both anagrams for Medina.

This note was found in an envelope (labelled Evidence #844B) that contained ripped up/shredded pieces of a floor plan/office layout. This floor plan/layout is important. Try and put it back together (like a puzzle).

In the upper left hand corner of the note, there is a 3x3 grid. This is an important clue.

The note contains 9 letter combinations: "OA", "OB", "OC", "B", "K", "R", "H", "S", "E". There are 9 spots in the 3x3 grid.

The 9 letter combinations ("OA", "B" etc.) are related to the floor plan/office layout.

The office floor plan (when it's put together), has 9 labelled areas: "Office A", "Office B", "Office C", "Bathroom", "Kitchen" etc.) Each of these correspond to one of the 9 letter combinations.

The alphabet can be written in a 3x3 grid, with each square containing 3 letters (and the 9th square having two letters - Y and Z). Think of a phone key pad - you have [ABC] on one key/button, then [DEF] on another key/button, then [GHI] etc. The note here has been encrypted using this logic.

There are 9 letter combinations ("OA", "OB" etc.) and 9 squares in the 3x3 grid. Each letter combination corresponds to one square on the grid. To figure out which letters corresponds to which square, look at where the letters combinations are on the office floor plan . First, you'll need to match each letter combination to an area/room on the floor plan (e.g. "OA" can be matched to "Office A", and "K" can be matched to "Kitchen"). Write out the 9 letter combinations in the 3x3 grid according to where they are on the floor plan.

The 9 letter combinations can be written in the 3x3 grid based on where they are on the floor plan. For example, the "Storage" room (which corresponds to "S") is located in the upper left hand corner of the office layout. So, "S" should go in the first square of the 3x3 grid. Once the 3x3 grid is filled in, it should look like this:

[S] represents [ABC], [K] represents [DEF], [B] represents [GHI], [OA] represents [JKL], [H] represents [MNO], [OC] represents [PQR], [OB] represents [STU], [E] represents [VWX], and [R] represents [YZ].

Next, you need to figure out how the 3 letters (for example, the ABC in the [S] square) are being differentiated. Look at the note and notice how one letter combination (for example, "OA") is written in different ways. Each letter combination (like OA, K etc.) can be written in 3 ways - each way represents a different letter. For example, [S] can be written 3 ways - if S is written in the first way, it represents A, if S is written in the second way it represents B, if it's written in the third way, it represents C.

Each letter combination can be written 3 ways. The 3 ways depend on the physical location of the letter in the square. For example, we know [S] represents [ABC]. A is the first letter in the square, B is the second, C is the third. Similarly, [K] represents [DEF], D is the first letter, E is the second, F is the third. All "first" letters are differentiated in the same way, as are all second letters and all third letters (i.e. all "first" letters have something in common, all "second" letters have something in common, and all "third" letters have something in common).

In the note, there are 9 letter combinations (e.g. B, K, OA etc.). Each letter combination has a "symbol" drawn around it. The symbol either looks like an "L", a backwards "L" (i.e. the bottom part of the L points to the left instead of the right, like this: "_|"), or like this: "|_|".

As explained in the previous hint, there are 3 symbols ("L", "_|", "|_|"). The symbol corresponds to the letter's position (e.g. first letters, like A or D, all have the same symbol, second letters, like B or E have the same symbol, and third letters have the same symbol). The symbol represents the letter's position. "First" letters are represented by the "L" symbol (because they are in the leftmost position in the square, the "L" represents them being beside the left wall/border. "Third" letters are represented by the backwards L (i.e: _|) because they are in the rightmost position (and so they have a right wall/border). "Second" letters are the middle letters, so they are depicted by this symbol: "|_|" (since they aren't on the left or right, both walls/borders are shown).

There is a blue die inside the scrunchie.

Inside the lipstick, there's an orange board game piece.

The blue die and orange board game piece are in the photo of Summer's "First Date" boardgame photo. Summer says she and her date both took souvenirs. The blue die and the orange board game piece are the "souvenirs" Summer and her date took.

The correct answer is blue die.

If you're not sure who the lipstick belongs to, you need to figure out who the scrunchie belongs to. Summer says she and her date each took one souvenir. Whoever owns the scrunchie took the blue die, and the other person took the orange board game piece. Whoever took the orange board game piece owns the lipstick.

The scrunchie is Medinas, so Medina must have gotten the blue die as a "souvenir" while Summer got the orange board game piece. The lipstick is Summer's.
